Permian Basin Chapter – Lost Draw Cellars Wine Dinner – John and Stephanie Latimer’s Patio

Andy Timmons is a well known grape grower in the Texas High Plains.He is a 4th Generation farmer who grows cotton, peanuts, and wine grapes.
In 2013 he became partners with Troy Ottmers, a Fredericksburg native whose family help found the city in 1846.
They started Lost Draw Cellars on the same property that the Ottmers Oil Company was located on for over 85 years in Fredericksburg.
Lost Draw’s tasting room is a place that locals and visitors meet and share a glass of Texas wine.
They have won gold medals at the San Francisco, Dallas Morning News and the Pacific Rim International Wine competition.
We will be tasting a Picpoul Blanc, THP Rose’, Sangiovese, Mourvedre and Tempranillo with a true Texas Bar-B-Q dinner.
John Latimer will be smoking the briskets. John smoked the pork at Heidi’s for our charity dinner with TWGGA this past Spring.
Members will be preparing the side dishes. and a representative from Lost Draw Cellars is attending to present the wines.
