Permian Basin Chapter – Veldhuizen Cheese and Brennan Vineyards Wine Tasting

Stuart and Connie Veldhuizen started cheesemaking in 2000 when Stuart
became dissatisfied with the current trends in commercial dairying.
They began making raw milk artisan cheese on their 180 acre dairy farm
located in Dublin, Texas. Their cheese make a perfect pairing with the
wines of Brennan Vineyards located down the road in Comanche, Texas.
These are 100% Texas wines crafted on one of the oldest homesteads in
Texas. The pairings are listed below:
Shepherd’s Blend Cheese – 2017 Reserve Lily
Gouda Cheese – 2018 Reserve Dry Rose’
Sharp Shooter Cheddar – 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon
Redneck Cheddar – Winemakers Vol V
Bosque Blue Cheese – Portejas
The event starts at 7:00 pm and the cost will be $40 Members and $45
