Did you know there are wineries in Waco, Texas? Well the answer is YES! Join the Greater Houston Chapter of The Wine Society of Texas on Saturday, October 7th when we will be the first to introduce Valley Mills Vineyards to Houston. The event will be held at Solaro Winery, 330 T C Jester Blvd, Houston, TX 77007 starting at 6 p.m.
Joey Bagnasco, General Manger, Valley Mills will be pouring nine wines including their 2014 Estate Tempranillo, and 2016 Rosé which both took home silver at the prestigious 2017 San Francisco International Wine Competition. The Rosé was ranked one the top 10 Rosé in Texas by the Texas Wine Journal. Other wines to be poured are as follows: their Vermintino, Reserve Viognier, Muscat Canelli, GSL, 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, Mammoth Red, and Tawny Port. Some of these wines are limited to club members only and all will be available for purchase. In addition light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Joey will also take a few minutes to talk to you about their winery and why you should consider visiting or joining their wine club.
The price is only $30 per person of which $10 will be donated to Houston Helping Hands to help Hurricane Harvey victims. Space is limited to 40 people.
