MARCH 28TH – Wines of Chile – Presented by Dexter and Susan Harmon, Grassland Estate Clubhouse
Dexter and Susan have selected a good representation from the different Chilean wine regions. We will start with two very different Sauvignon Blancs. One from the Casablanca Valley and one from the Leyda Valley. We will then taste the 2015 Ochagavia Carmenere. Ochagavia was the first Chilean winery to grow vineyards with this specific Bordeaux varietal.
We will follow with the 2012 Etnico Red Blend from the Rapel Valley, and finish with the 2014 Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon which is the most famous Chilean wine brand and means “The Devil’s Locker.”
Plan to attend to taste and learn about the selection of several of the more interesting varietals from our South American neighbor.
The event starts at 7:00 pm at the Grasslands Estate Clubhouse, 5800 Crowley, Midland, Texas. Cost will be $25 Members and $30 Guests. Please RSVP by email or calling Shirley Choate at 432-553-6408 by March 26th.
