Zoom to Argentina Wine Tasting
August 8 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm CDT
Since the DFW Chapter is not having any live wine events due to COVID-19, lets “zoom” to Argentina at 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2020. We will be doing a Zoom presentation on the wines of Argentina, including the history, the grapes and the wine regions plus a little bit of tour advice, if you decide to travel to Argentina someday. Of course, there will be wine to try, as well. The lineup for the tasting will be: Colome Torrontes 2019 (white, around $14), Durigutti Bonarda 2017 (red, around $18) and the Clos de los Siete blend 2017 (red, around $20). The wines may be purchased on wine.com and at Goody Goody in the Dallas area. The Clos de los Siete red blend is at World Market. If you are on a budget, you could skip one or two of them, or split the wine (and the cost) with a friend. You are also free to drink whatever you like during this tasting, as well. Zoom tastings are so flexible this way! The wine training is free. If you would like to attend, contact me and I will send you the link for the tasting. Your on-line experience will be better if you establish a free Zoom account and download the app ahead of time.
