Portree Cellars Vertical Tasting – A Rare Chapter Experience

We are thrilled to bring back a rare treat for our chapter: a vertical tasting event featuring Portree Cellars, a boutique family-run winery based in Hye, Texas. Located on part of the historic LBJ Ranch, the winery was named after a village in Scotland where Janet and Mark Miertschin dreamed up their winemaking journey.

The evening will focus on the evolution of Petit Manseng, a white French varietal from the Pau region in southwest France. Now thriving in the Texas High Plains AVA, Petit Manseng is gaining popularity for its crisp, Chardonnay-like character.
