Riedel Wine Glass Seminar with Skye Potter

The Wine Society of Texas Permian Basin Chapter invites you to a special evening exploring the art and science of wine glass design with the world-renowned Riedel Crystal company.

Founded in 1756, Riedel has been family owned and operated for eleven generations and is internationally recognized for revolutionizing the relationship between wine and glassware. In 1958, Riedel began collaborating with winemakers around the world to develop glass shapes that enhance aromas, improve balance, and elevate the tasting experience.

This educational seminar will be presented by Skye Potter, representative for Riedel Crystal. During the seminar, guests will experience firsthand how the shape of a wine glass impacts the way wine is perceived.

Each attendee will receive a set of four Riedel wine glasses to take home, including:

  • Sauvignon Blanc

  • Chardonnay

  • Pinot Noir

  • Cabernet/Merlot

These glass sets retail for approximately $198, but thanks to chapter sponsorship, attendees will receive them as part of the event for just $65.

Please note:

  • Guests are encouraged to eat before the seminar

  • Wines will be poured throughout the presentation

  • Dessert will be served at the end of the evening

  • Additional Riedel glassware purchases made that evening through Skye will receive a 20% discount
