Enkidu Holiday Wine Dinner

The Permian Basin Chapter celebrated the end of another successful year at the Petroleum Club with Enkidu Winemaker, Phillip Staehle.

We had a four course dinner that started out with the Enkidu NV Brut Sparkling paired with a Gruyere Cheese Puff.  Followed by 2019 Pinot Noir and wild mushroom bisque soup and a 2019 Grenache Blanc Cuvee’ M with a winter panzonella salad of baby greens, dried fig and butternut squash with maple vinaigrette.  The 2018 Ansar Cabernet Sauvignon was wonderful with a 12 hour slow braised short rib and stone ground grits.  Portly Petite Sirah completed this magical dinner with a chocolate mousse cake.

All of our members then rolled themselves home with dreams of Enkidu Wines dancing in their heads.
